In this hands-on studio class, you will explore the fiber art techniques of block printing, hand dyeing, and hand stitching. We will explore pattern making by designing and producing a block-printing stamp, creating a repeat print design. We will also take our designs to the next level and play with methods of embellishment through fabric dyeing and embroidery. You will have the opportunity to utilize these skills by developing mixed media matter including wearable art. On the last day of class, family and friends will be invited to see your artwork in your class Art Exhibit!
