Beginning Painting

In this beginning painting class students will have an opportunity to learn new painting skills and techniques. We will start class with a basic introduction to color theory using tempera paint. Following our color theory practice painting we will move into an exploration of watercolors and experiment with fun and alternative techniques that will be used to create a composition based in the natural world. The last few weeks of class will be dedicated to learning how to use acrylic paint safely and effectively. Invite family and friends to see your creative work on the last day of class at our Painting Art Show!
