Life Drawing teaches analysis tools for observing the human form and builds drawing skills through an examination of structure, anatomy, and movement of the human body. In this class we will develop our practice with charcoal and finish with pastels and a good understanding of color in figure drawing. Emphasis is placed on strengthening the personal voice alongside developing observational skills and practice. Classes begin with fun warm up exercises that challenge and build creativity. This course is suitable for people new to figure drawing as well as for students who have a good understanding of drawing from observation. Individuals of all experience levels are welcome since all of my classes are given in a supportive, closely led environment.
